SDAU deserve has been given a brand name of "BANAS"

Its alumni now occupying the
highest position in the Government of Gujarat.

Demonstrations of Resources
Conservation Technologies (RCTs) in Kheralu taluka for wheat
crop has resulted in saving of Rs. 1120/ha.

NAIP Component-II on "Value
chain in major seed spices for domestic and export
promotion" launched on April 24, 2008.

NAIP Component-III on
"Integrated project for research on development process and
sustainability of livelihood in selected disadvantaged districts
of Gujarat state" launched on May 12, 2008.

Putting the Directorate of
Extension Education with the KVKs ATMAs, NGOs, Farmers Groups,
Orchard Growers and Co-operative Samities, Co-operative Bodies
in the driving seat in all programmes of SDAU

sector, the mainstay of farmers in term of fodder and feed,
health and nutrition.
