The SRC of College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, Sardarkrushinagar, organized the Dr. D. C. Shukla Running Trophy - 2020 (Elocution Competition) through online mode at Google Meet platform on the occasion of World Mental Health Day, on 10^th October, 2020. The topic of the elocution competition was ‘ONLINE TEACHING IN EDUCATION SYSTEM’. The online teaching in corona pandemic period proves to be a vital tool to keep students engaged and thus help maintaining their mental health in good shape. A total of seven students participated in the competition and staff members also joined the event to be acquainted with the thoughts of students on online teaching. Dr. D. V. Joshi, Dean, Veterinary College appreciated the quality of online elocution competition and emphasised the role of online teaching in hard times of covid-19 pandemics due to which academic accomplishments were finished in time. A Jury panel of three members adjudged Mohan Ram (fifth year student) as winner and Vidhi Modi (Second year student) as runner-up of the competition. Dr. C. F. Chaudhari, SRC chairman of the college, proposed the Vote of Thanks.
