The Fifteenth Annual Convocation of SDAU was held on 29^th November, 2019 at Professor V. R. Mehta Auditorium in the August presence of Hon’ble Governor Shri of Gujarat and Chancellor of  SDAU, Shri. Acharya Devvrat as a president of the convocation ceremony.  Hon’ble Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development & Transport, Shri Ranchhodbhai C. Faldu and Dr. Narendra Singh Rathore, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, MPUAT, Udaipur remained present in the convocation and blessed the students by delivering thought provoking and insightful speeches. Dr. R. K. Patel, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, SDAU delivered the welcome speech and introduced gathering regarding achievements of SDAU in brief. Dr. K. K. Patel conducted the procedure for conferment of degrees and gold medal distribution ceremony. 

Hon’ble Governor Shri of Gujarat and Chancellor of  SDAU also inaugurated the newly built University Bhavan and Teaching Veterinary Clinical Complex and also appreciated the clean and green environment of University campus. He took special visit to Livestock Research Station and interacted with group of scientists regarding research on improvement of native ‘Kankrej’ cow breed. He appreciated the genetic improvement and productive performance of dairy animals in LRS.
