TREE PLANTATION PROGRAMME BY N.S.S. UNIT OF VETERINARY COLLEGE

National Service scheme volunteers of College of Veterinary Science & A.H., SDAU, Sardarkrushinagar, undertook tree plantation programme on 8th August 2019. Total 75 NSS volunteers and 25 Staff members participated in this programme and planted saplings of neem, Saptpani, Lemontreeand jamun in the premises of Boys Hostel and Veterinary clinical complex, Sardarkrushinagar. NSS volunteers took pledge to nourish and maintain the allocated plant. Dean of Veterinary College Dr. D. V. Joshi, SRC Chairman Dr. H.B. Patel, Professor & Head, Clinics, Dr. R. M. Patel and Hostel Warden Dr. H. C. Nakhashi remained present on this auspicious occasion. They also planted trees and inspired the students to preserve the environment. All the college staff members joined the program and the entire program was completed in a cheerful atmosphere. At the end of event, NSS officer Dr. J. D. Chaudhari expressed gratitude to all for their presence to make the event successful.
