Livestock Inspector's Training Centre (LITC) :-
The university runs one Livestock Inspector's Training Centre to organize one year certificate course to the boys & girls with the following objectives.
The Objectives :-
The main objective of Livestock Inspector's training centre are :-
1. Year of establishment: Transferred from Baroda in 1980
2. Objectives of the Center:
a. To prepare livestock inspector certificate holders that can assist veterinary doctors and render first aid veterinary services at village level for benefits of the dairy farmers
b. Animal husbandry and dairy related extension education activities.
3. About the Course:
i. Course taught:Livestock Inspector Training, one year certificate course
ii. Eligibility criterion: S.S.C.( 10 th) pass with English as compulsory subject and minimum 55 % marks in S.S.C.
iii. Admission seats: 30 seats
iv. Admission details: Every year advertisement on admission being published in Gujarati news paper on very second day of declaration of S.S.C. result.
v. Medals: No Provision of any Medal
vi. Student Reservation (percentage): As per Gujarat Govt. rule
vii. Scholarship: No provision
