C.P.College of Agriculture, S.D. Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar was established in the year 1982 as fourth Agriculture College of the State. The Sardarkrushinagar is also happened to be the headquarter of S.D. Agricultural University. Since its inception, this college remained instrumental in bringing revolutionary changes in the outlook of modern Agricultural Education as well as in providing boost to the Agricultural farming and productivity of comparatively backward North Gujarat Zone in particular and Gujarat State in general. Founding of C.P.College of Agriculture was with the aim to provide a strong concrete technical base and man power for agricultural development in the State. The college also aims at creating stimulating campus environment for quality education, strengthening research and very fruitful motivating extension work. It serves as a torchbearer.
