• Subject matter specialists deliver talks to research workers, trainees, students of Gram Vidyapeeth, farmers as well as in the training programme organized by various agencies.
• Experts of different discipline give training to extension workers as well as to extension officers of the State department under T & V programme.
• On farm advisory works to the farmers for their insect pest, crop disease and nutritional problems.
• Crop samples of farmers for various diseases are examined in the laboratory and remedial measures are suggested accordingly.
• Research articles are published in national as well as international journals, popular articles in local language are also published by the teachers.
• Technical bulletins, booklets, leaflets, folders as well as posters are published for farming community.
• Fruit plants, ornamental plants and seasonal flowering plants are multiplied in the nursery and supply to the farmers.
• Mali training (6 months) was organized every year by Horticulture Department in which 25 students are trained for practical training in horticulture for Mali�s work.
• Analysis of soil and water samples of farmers by soil science department.
• Under agromet advisory services weather forecast to the farmers to derive the benefits of favourable weather conditions and protect the crops from the likely bad weather, if any.
• Under establishment of extension wing, chemical analysis of samples of soil and water of farmers and results are given on the spot to the farmers and advise are also given to the farmers accordingly.
• Faculty members deliver a radio talk as well as T.V. talk in gujarati on Doordarshan Network Programme for farmers.
