Minimum qualifications required for admission:

The candidates should have passed Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination in Science stream with English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics with 45 per cent marks in aggregate of science subjects of Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination from any statutory University / Board in Gujarat State

or
Examination recognised as equivalent thereto by the University
or
Equivalent OGPA.
Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination with Vocational stream in Agriculture as well as from Higher Secondary Post Basic Stream with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects be also admitted with 45 per cent marks in aggregate of science subjects and having English as compulsory subject.

The Minimum requirement of marks in science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics) in theory papers shall be as under:

a - For S.C.                  :40%

b - For S.T./N.T./DNT  :35%

c - For S.E.B.C.           :40%

d - For all others           :45%
