YEAR OF ESTABLISHMENT: 1963
Dry farming research station, Radhanpur was started in 1956 at Deesa, Dist. Banaskantha. The farm area of this centre was under the Dantiwada canal command area. Afterward state Government acquired waste land of horse race ground with pavilion building at Radhanpur. The Research Station was transferred at Radhanpur on 11th February 1963. Later on with establishment of GAU in 1972, the centre worked as a substation of main dry farming research Station, Targadia, Dist. Rajkot and Zonal Research Station, GAU, Bhachau (Kachchh). Breeding and Agronomic trails are conducted at this station allocated by GAU.
