Regulations for the award of " Vice-chancellor's Gold Medal" for Under Graduate Students of various faculties of Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar

1.         The medal shall be called "Vice-chancellor's Gold Medal".
2.         An amount of Rs.10000/- from the University fund shall be utilized for each medal including the cost of preparation of the medal and other charges.
3.         The medal  shall be awarded to the best under-graduate student of each faculty.viz.,  Agriculture, Veterinary Science & A.H. and Home Science.
4.         The award shall be made to a Under-graduate student of all the faculties by the Board of Management on recommendation of the Academic Council and shall be awarded at the time of  Annual Convocation.
5.         The award shall be made to an Under-graduate student of each faculty whose overall performance in study (O.G.P.A.) at the end of degree course examination., sports N.C.C., N.S.S., Essay and Debate competition, and Cultural activities as  adjudged to be the best student at the under-graduate level. The committee of Deans shall consider the cases of not more than first six highest marks scoring students in each faculty and shall submit the list of such candidates with full data to the committee of experts of persons appointed by the Vice Chancellor. The committee of experts shall judge the comparative merits of the candidates of each faculty and shall select the best among them in each faculty.
6.         A student shall not be eligible for the award of the medal if he/she  secures less than 7.00 grade point  or secures 'F' (Fail) or  ' I ' grade at any time in any course or dropped the course (Barring withdrawal) as regular student or left the course incomplete or  was punished under " The Discipline  Rules for the students of the colleges of the Sardakrushinagar Dantiwada  Agricutlrual University, Sardarkrushinagar" or punished for  'use of unfair means' under "Examination Regulation" up to the end of the final year  examination shall not be eligible for the award.
7.         The decision of the Board of Management in the matter of the award of the medal shall be final.

Regulations for the award of "Chancellor's Gold Medal" for  Post Graduate Students of various faculties of Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar.

1.                  The medal shall be called "Chancellor's Gold Medal"
2.                  An amount of Rs.10000/- from the University fund shall be utilized for one medal including the cost of preparation of the medal and other charges for the medal.
3.                  The award shall be made by the Board of Management on recommendation of the Academic council and shall be awarded at the time of Annual Convocation.
4.                  There shall be three Chancellor's Gold Medals, one for each of Agricultural Science, Veterinary Science and Home Science for securing the highest Overall Grade Point Average (O.G.P.A.) at the Master's degree examination and the quality of Research work presented in thesis.
5.         The committee of Dean, P. G. S., Director  of Students' Welfare  and the Dean  of the concerned faculty will consider the cases of not more than first three candidates in each faculty and shall submit the list of such candidates with  full data to a committee of experts appointed by the Vice Chancellor. The committee of experts shall judge the comparative merits of the candidates and shall adjudge the best amongst them. In judging the comparative merits, the committee may avail of the service of any experts.
6.         A student who has secured less than 7.00 grade point or secures 'F' (Fail)  or ' I ' grade at any time in any course or has at any time dropped the  course (Barring withdrawal)   as a regular student or has left the course incomplete or was punished under " The Discipline Rules for the students of the colleges of the Sardarkrushinagar Diantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar" or punished for 'Use of Unfair means' under "Examination Regulations" up to the end of the final year examination shall not be eligible for the award.
7.         The decision of the Board of Management in the matter of the award of the medal shall be final.

Regulations for the award of "Gujarat Agro-Industries Corporation Ltd., Gold Medal" for B.Sc.(Agri.) students of the Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar for Agricultural Entomology subject.
1.         These regulations are formulated under Statute-38 of the Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar.
2.     The Prize shall be known as "Gujarat Agro-Industries Corporation Ltd., Gold Medal."
3.     The annual realisation of the endowment shall be credited to the general fund of the Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar.
4.     The amount of endowment (Rs.25,000/-) shall be suitably invested by the Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar in form of fixed deposit in any Commercial Bank.
5.     The Gold Medal shall be awarded to a student getting highest Overall Grade Point Average (O.G.P.A.)in the subject of Agricultural Entomology up-to the Seventh Semester on passing B.Sc.(Agri.) exmaination of the Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar.
In the event of a tie. the awardee shall be selected on the basis of highest O.G.P.A. obtained by the candidate at the end of Seventh Semester of B.Sc.(Agri.)examination.
6.     The prize shall be awarded in form of a Gold Medal engraved with the words "Gujarat Agro-Industries Corporation Ltd., Gold Medal."
7.     The committee consisting of (a) Director of Students' Welfare, Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar (b)Dean. Faculty of Agriculture, Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar and (c) One Representative of Gujarat Agro-Industries Corporation Ltd., Ahmedabad shall decide the awardee for  the Gold Medal. The decision of the committee shall be final.
8.     The Gold Medal shall be awarded to student on the occasion of the Annual Convocation.
9.     The endowment shall be suitably acknowledged by the Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar on the occasion of the  Annual Convocation.
10.    The endowment shall be suitably incorporated in the annual report of the Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar.
11.    A student shall not be eligible for the award of the medal if he/she secures less than 7.00 grade point or secures 'F'(Fail) grade or 'US' grade or ' I ' grade at any time in any course or dropped the course  (Barring  withdrawal)  as a regular student  left the course incomplete or  was punished under the "Discipline rules for the student of the colleges of the Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar  or punished for 'Use of Unfair means' under "Examination Regulation" upto the end of  the  final   year  examination shall not be eligible for the award.
12.    The decision of the Board of Management in the matter of the award of the medal shall be final.

Regulations for the award of "Shri Ranchhoddas Lotwala Foundation  Gold  Medal" for Agricultural Economics subject of B.Sc.(Agri.) students of the Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University,Sardarkrushinagar.
1.     These regulations are formulated under Statute-38 of the Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar.
2.      The Prize shall be known as "Shri Ranchhoddas Lotwala Foundation  Gold  Medal"
3.     The annual realisation of the endowment shall be credited to the general fund of the Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar.
4.     The amount of endowment (Rs.15,000/-) shall be suitably invested in the account of the Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar in form of fixed deposit in any Commercial Bank.
5.     There shall be two Gold Medals from the savings of the realisation of interest of the amount invested. They shall be awarded to first two students of B.Sc.(Agri.) degree course of the Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar,who have secured the highest Overall Grade Point  Average (O.G.P.A.) in all the courses of Agricultural Economics upto the fifth semester.
In the event of a tie, the awardee shall be selected on the basis of the  highest   O.G.P.A. obtained by the candidates at the end of fifth Semester of B.Sc.(Agri.) examination.
6.     The prize shall be awarded in form of a Gold  Medal engraved with the words "Shri Ranchhoddas Lotwala Foundation  Gold  Medal"
7.     The committee consisting of (a) Director of Students' Welfare, Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar (b) Dean. Faculty of Agriculture, Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar and (c) One Trustee of Shri Ranchhoddas Lotwala Foundation  shall decide the awardee for  the Gold  Medal and the decision of the committee shall be final.
8.     The Gold Medal shall be awarded to students on the occasion of the Annual Convocation.
9.     The endowment shall be suitably acknowledged by the Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar on the occasion of the  Annual Convocation.
10.    The endowment shall be suitably incorporated in the annual report of the Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar.
11.    The students who have secured any time 'F' (Fail) grade, or Us (Un satisfactory) grade in any  course or has at any time dropped the course (Barring withdrawal)  as regular student or has left incomplete any course or was punished under "The Discipline Rules for the students of the colleges of the Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar" or punished for 'Use of Unfair means' under " Examination Regulations" up to the end of the final year examination shall not be eligible for the award.
12.    The decision of the Board of Management in the matter of the award of the medal shall be final.

Regulations for the award of "Pragati Mahila Mandal (Sardarkrushinagar) Gold Medal" for B.Sc.(Home Science) examination of the Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar.
1.      These regulations are formulated under Statute-38 of the Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar.
2.      The Price shall be known as "Pragati Mahila Mandal (Sardarkrushinagar) Gold Medal".
3.     The annual realisation of the endowment shall be credited to the general fund of the Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar.
4.     The amount of endowment of rupees twenty five  thousand shall be suitably invested by the Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar in the form of fixed deposits in bank.
5.     The prize shall be awarded to a girl student who secures the highest Overall Grade Point Average (O.G.P.A.) in the B.Sc.(Home Science) degree examination of the Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar.
In the event of a tie, candidate having highest O.G.P.A. for core courses shall be considered. If the tie continues in the core courses, candidate having the highest O.G.P.A. for electives shall be considered.
5.     The prize shall be awarded in the form of a Gold Medal engraved with the words "Pragati Mahila Mandal (Sardarkrushinagar) Gold Medal".
6.      A committee consisting of (a) Director of Students' Welfare, Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar (b) Dean, Faculty of Home Science, Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University,Sardarkrushinagar (c) One representative of Pragati Mahila Mandal  Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar shall decide the award of prize and the decision of the committee shall be final.
7.      The prize shall be awarded to the student on the occasion of the Annual Convocation.
8.     The endowment shall be suitably acknowledged by the Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar on the occasion of the  Annual Convocation.
9.     The endowment shall be suitably incorporated in the annual report of the Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar.

Regulations for the award of "Late Shri R.J.Patel Memorial Gold Medal" for B.Sc.(Home Science) students of the  Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar.
1.     These regulations are formulated under Statute-38 of the Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar.

2.     The Price shall be known as "Late Shri R.J.Patel Memorial Gold Medal".
3.     The annual realisation of the endowment shall be credited to the general fund of the Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar.
4.     The amount of endowment (Rs. 25300/-) shall suitably be invested by the Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar in the form of fixed deposits in any Nationalised Commercial bank.
5.     The Gold Medal  shall be awarded to a  student who secures the highest Overall Grade Point Average (O.G.P.A.) in core courses at the end of  the  final year in B.Sc.(Home Science) degree examination of the Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar.
In the event of a tie, candidate having highest O.G.P.A. for electives  shall be considered. Even then the tie continues,  candidate having the highest O.G.P.A. in B.Sc(Home Science) degree examination shall be considered.
6.     The prize shall be awarded in the form of a Gold Medal engraved with the words " Late Shri R.J.Patel Memorial Gold Medal ".
7.      A committee consisting of (a) Director of Students' Welfare, Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar (b) Dean, Faculty of Home Science, Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar shall decide the awardees for the Gold Medal  and the decision of the committee shall be final.
8.     The Gold Medal  shall be awarded to a student on the occasion of the Annual Convocation.
9.     The endowment shall suitably be acknowledged by the Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar on the occasion of the  Annual Convocation.
10.    The endowment shall suitably be incorporated in the annual report of the Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar.
11.    A student shall not be eligible for the award of the medal  if he /she secures less than 4.5 grade point or secures 'F' (Fail) grade, or  " US" degree or " I " grade at any time in any  course. (ii) has  dropped the (Barring withdrawal) course as regular student (iii) Left the course incomplete or (iv) was punished under "The Discipline Rules for the students of the college of the Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar" or punished for 'Use of Unfair means' under Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University examination regulations upto the end of the final year examination.
12.    The decision of the Board of Management in the matter of the award of the medal shall be final.

Regulations for the award of "Late Shri Galbabhai Nanjibhai Patel Gold Medal" for Girl Students of  B.V.Sc. & A.H. of the Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar.
1.     The Regulations are formulated under  Statute-38 of the Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar.
2.     The Prize instituted by  Banas Dairy shall be known as "Late Shri Galbabhai Nanjibhai Patel Gold Medal" for Girl students.
3.     The annual realization of the endowment shall be credited to the general fund of the Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar.
4.     The amount endowment (Rs.50,000/-)shall suitably be invested by the Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar in form of fixed deposit in any Commercial Bank.
5.     The Gold Medal shall be awarded every year to a girl student who secures highest cumulative Overall Grade Point Average (O.G.P.A.) in B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree examination.
6.     The prize shall be awarded in form of a Gold Medal engraved with the words "Late Shri Galbabhai Nanjibhai Patel Gold Medal".
7.     A committee consisting of (a) Director of Students' Welfare, Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University,Sardarkrushinagar.(b)Dean, Faculty of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandary of Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar (c) One Trustee or the Managing Director of Banas Dairy or his nominee shall decide the award for the Gold Medal. The decision of the committee shall be final.
8.     The Gold Medal shall be awarded to the  girl student on the occasion of the Annual Convocation.
9.     The endowment shall be suitably acknowledged by the Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar on the occasion of the Annual Convocation.
10.   The endowment shall suitably be  incorporated in the annual report of the Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar.
11.   A Girl  Student shall not be eligible for the award of the Medal if she (i) secures less than 7.00 grade point (ii)was punished under the "Discipline Rules for the student of the college of the Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar" or punished for 'Use of Unfair means' under Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar examination regulations up to the end of the final year examination.
12.   The decision of the Board of Management in the matter of the award of the medal shall be final.
