Facilities of farm/lab:
The department had developed computer laboratory which provide internet facility and useful in teaching of computer courses and analysis of research data
Major activities of the departments:
Teaching, research and analysis of research data.
Major achievements of the departments:
- Conducted three short term computer training for faculties of S.D.A.U.
- Guided five P.G. students leading to M. Sc. (Agri.) in Agril. Statistics.
- Two P.G. students are working to earn their Ph. D. degree.
- Three scientific recommendation were emerged out by the department on different crops.
Research recommendations for the farmers (Approved in joint AGRESCO, 1984 onwards):

Future plan/thrust areas:
- Teaching of Agril. Statistics and computer science subjects
- Analysis of research data of different research projects and P.G. students of S.D.A.U.
- Research on optimum size and shape of plots for field experiments of different crops.
Research schemes/projects at present:
A scheme entitled Creation of infrastructure facilities and man power for research in Agril. Statistics.
