Facilities of farm/lab:
The department has developed audio-visual laboratory, language lab and computer lab .which provides practical exposure to the students of under graduate and postgraduate faculty. In addition it serves as a Museum for the visitors viz, farmers, school boys and girls and students from other traditional colleges
Major activities of the departments:
Teaching, research and extension activities pertaining to the practical exposure to the students as well as to demonstrate the technology generated by the university. Rural Agricultural Work Experience Programme has also been implemented since last three years for the students of the seventh semester.
Major achievements of the departments:
- Guided 36 P.G. students leading to M. Sc. (Agri.) and 8 Ph D
- Ten P.G. students are working to earn their M.Sc. (Agri) and Ph. D. degree.
- One scientific recommendation was made by the department on RAWE programme.
- Completed eight research projects and presented in Agresco meetings.
