The scope of Agricultural Engineering is both wide and varied, covering such diverse items as farm machinery, farm power, agricultural processing, soil and water conservation along with farm irrigation, tube wells, pumping machinery, drainage, farm buildings and structures and rural electrification etc. The department offers four agricultural engineering courses to U.G. students with the objective of maintaining high professional standard to serve the farming community by keeping pace with challenging pattern of agricultural practices for increasing agricultural productivity, improving the living standard of farmers and boosting the overall earnings per worker.
