The Extension Wing of the college co-ordinates clinical, surgical and fertility camps in the villages for the welfare of farmers of Banaskantha District at a frequency of once in a month.  The faculty members also participate in the Exhibitions and organized NSS Programmes with the help of students. The Extension Wing also coordinates the participation of faculty members in the Krushi Goshti Programme organized by the Directorate of Extension Education.  The Livestock Inspector Training Centre conducts training programmes to the tribals and rural women and dairy farmers.  The Clinics Department at Sardarkrushinagar, Deesa and Mobile Ambulatory Clinics are involved in treatment and prevention of livestock diseases. Disease diagnostic work examines clinical material like; blood, faeces for parasitological examination and milk, skin scrapping for bacterial and fungal and parasitic infections.  Antibiotic sensitive test is conducted immediate remedial measures are offered.  The diagnostic services include autopsies and histopathological evaluations.
