The candidates should have passed Higher Secondary School Certificate examination in science subjects with Physics Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics and with English as  compulsory subject and with not less than 55% Marks in science subjects or

an equivalent grade point average of 2.5/ 4.00 from any statutory University / Board in Gujarat State or Examination recoginsed as equivalent thereto by the University. The minimum requirement of  marks in science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English) in theory papers shall be as under

(a)  For Scheduled Tribes /    40%
